The Medical Nail Technician Certification can get you ready for that position. Physicians are seeking assistants and nail technicians that are trained to work in their offices beside them in working with their clients. They NEED you to perform the services you are trained in so they can do the medical services they are trained to do. They want you to perform cosmetic pedicures on their at-risk clients (diabetics, lymphedema, et cetera) who need routine foot care and should not go going into salons where the technician is not trained to work on them or might not be performing appropriate infection control. Nail Technicians need to be trained to be appropriately qualified to work in a medical office.
Many technicians who do not wish to work in a medical office are taking this Program for the high level of information and to support their working properly and safely on the at-risk clients sent to them by physicians.
